WISA (Water In South Asia) Series: |
| |
| The CB project expects to produce a series of readers with basic reading material on water resources issues in South Asia largely written by South Asians. On each topic a workshop will be held, with commissioned papers. The papers will be the base material for the book/reader to be brought out. In each volume there will be a number of review papers (regional or thematic) and a number of in-depth (case) studies. In the longer term this material should be used to develop web-based or CD-Rom based education material. |
| |
| The topics presently underway are: |
| a) |
IWRM in South Asia |
b) |
Droughts in South Asia |
c) |
Floods in South Asia |
d) |
Gender and Water |
|
| |
| These will form important resources for the IWRM education programmes in the CB project and outside it. The volumes will be published by Sage, India and made available at a low price so as to facilitate access to this knowledge base. |
