Ms. K.G.I.D. Koralegedera holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Technology and Management from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. During her undergraduate studies, Ms Koralegedera has specialized in Food Science and Technology. She had been the first runner up of the oral presentation made in the Undergraduate research Symposium of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya in 2014 based on her undergraduate research work on ‘Investigation of the capability of selected plant proteins to self assemble into nano scale particles with carragenan’. Under the SAWA Fellowship Programme, her research work is based on investigation of strategies for climatic change adaptation while maintaining food security and ecosystem sustainability.
Ms. G.M.L.D. Samarakoon holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Technology and Management from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Ms. Samarakoon has specialized in Agricultural Engineering during her undergraduate studies. Her undergraduate research work was on designing a performance evaluation reactor for pineapple waste treatment. Under the SAWA Fellowship Programme, her research is based on assessment of social and livelihood impacts of Deduru Oya Dam construction in Sri Lanka.
Ms. W.M.S.M. Wijekoon holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from the Faculty of Agriculture, Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. She has specialized in environmental soil management for her undergraduate studies. Under the SAWA Fellowship Programme, her research work is based on role of governance, institutions and social safety net programmes in strengthening resilience to shocks and stresses to livelihoods in minor irrigation systems in Deduru Oya river basin in Sri Lanka.
Ms. R. Sudarshani holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Technology and Management from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She has specialized in Agricultural Engineering during her undergraduate studies. Her undergraduate research work is also related to water and the title is ‘Effect of different crop establishment techniques on root development, morphological parameters and yield parameters in aerobically cultivated rice’. Under the SAWA Fellowship Programme, her research work is based on Application of livelihood framework for water interventions to ensure food security.
Mr. M. Rajendran holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from the Eastern University of Sri Lanka. He has specialized in Agricultural Engineering during his undergraduate studies. He is serving as a probationary lecturer in Agricultural Engineering at the Eastern University of Sri Lanka. Under the SAWA Fellowship Programme, his research work is based on Application of hydrological models to determine strategies for water allocation to different users while improving the livelihood of farming communities.
Ms. U.R.M. Hemanthi Dhammika Rathnayake holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from the University of Peradeniya. She is currently working as a Programme assistant in the Natural Resource Management Center of the Agricultural Department.
Ms. G.W.R.W.M.R.M.W.K. Kirinde is a holder of a B.Sc. degree from University of Ruhuna.
Ms. M.M.J.G.C.N. Jayasiri holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from Rajarata University of S.L.
Ms. N.G.R. Saumyarathna holds a B.Sc. degree in Mineral Resource and technology from Uva Wellassa University.
Mr. G.M.P Kumara holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural Technology and Management from University of Peradeniya.
A.C.S. Perera holds a B.Sc. degree in Applied Sciences from the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya. She has been interested in working in the water sector from her undergraduate studies. During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Perera had worked at the Greater Kandy water treatment plant of the National Water Supply and Drainage Board of Sri Lanka to carry out a study to optimize the chemical consumption at flocculation tanks. Currently, her main research interest is on water pollution issues and she would like to identify socially acceptable and technically and economically sound methods to control water pollution sources. 
I.P.S.K. Perera has a B.Sc. degree in Mineral Resources and Technology from Uwa Wellassa university of Sri Lanka. She has specialized in the field of Water Science and Technology during which, she has gained a vast knowledge in technological aspects of water. She has undergone industrial training at the National Water Supply and Drainage Board of Sri Lanka. Her objective of following the M.Phil in IWRM is to gain knowledge in water management aspects and her research interests are on water scarcity issues and conservation of water. 
S. Thusyanthi holds of a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from University of Jaffna. She has graduated in 2012 with a First Class. She has experience in working as a temporary demonstrator attached to the Department of Agricultural Engineering, University of Jaffna and as a field investigator for World Food Programme and FAO. Ms. Thusyanthi has carried out a study to simulate NO3-N leaching in calcic red yellow latasol soils using Hydrus-1D model, lysimeter and field studies for her undergraduate studies. Her research interests are in the field of water pollution aspects due to agriculture. She was already enrolled for the IWRM postgraduate programme at the time of advertisement of the fellowship programme. 
R.P.S.P. Chandrasiri holds a B.Sc. degree in Agricultural technology and Management from University of Peradeniya with a Second Class Upper Division pass. She has specialized in Agricultural Engineering. Being an agriculture graduate her intention is to identify solutions to water management problems in agriculture sector. In addition, she is interested in conducting research on impacts on water resources and agriculture due to large scale construction projects carried out in Sri Lanka. 
D.M.N. Diyawadana holds a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture from University of Peradeniya. He has specialized in Agricultural Engineering. Mr. Diyawadana has a considerable experience in working with the communities since he has worked with a number of community development projects. He is keen in working with water resources management with rural communities to improve their livelihoods. His research interest is on water quality issues and identifying feasible solutions to control water pollution in the country.
