2. Which socio-economic and political factors play influential roles in the resource use conflict
3. To what extent to the institutional factors contribute to the resource use problem that exists in the study area.

| How the question/hypothesis is researched |
Focus of research will theoretically center around people's participation in resource management. Studies will use both quantitative and qualitative methods such as individual interviews, partiipant observation, community observation. Analysis of official/unofficial statistics and documentation.
