To find out the post operation assessment of environmental, economical and social aspects of Hirakud dam and to get a detailed picture of the structure & functioning of the management of the dam. |

The Study is of special interest for assessing the cost & benefit analysis of all the different positive and negative aspects of Hirakud dam because until now hardly anybody has done the proper assessment of Hirakud dam since its inception in 1956.

By taking Preconstruction & post construction secondary data analysis of both physical and social aspects of Hirakud dam. CBA & Risk benefit analysis will be utilised.
