Dr. Sreenita Mondal holds a PhD in Regional Development from the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She has served as Assistant Professor of Geography at Raniganj Girls' College, affiliated to Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal, and has worked with the Centre de Sciences Humaines (CSH), New Delhi, where she contributed to a research project on India Milk. She is proficient in GIS software including ArcGIS and ERDAS Imagine, as well as statistical tools including SPSS and Excel. Her research interests span rural development, dispossession and displacement, livelihoods, labour, gender and agriculture, employing both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. She currently serves as Gender Expert Consultant across multiple projects at SaciWATERs.
