Dr. Jayati Chourey holds a PhD in Ecosystem-based and Integrated Water Resources Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal, in collaboration with Forest Research Institute (FRI) University, Dehradun. She holds an M.Sc. in Limnology and Aquatic Environmental Sciences. With 16 years of cumulative professional and research experience in sustainable natural resources management, Dr. Chourey has worked across environmental consultancies, international development organisations, academic and policy research institutions and rural community-based organisations. Her professional assignments span South Asia and Africa. Her areas of expertise include interdisciplinary action research, stakeholder participation, capacity building and training, networking, project implementation and management, sustainability studies and impact assessments and monitoring and evaluation. Dr. Chourey holds several professional certifications including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Framework and Metrics, GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, Life Cycle Assessment, Carbon and Water Footprints and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System as Lead Auditor.
